CA Foundation January 2027: applicable amendments and notifications

ICAI's Board of Studies (Academic) announces before each attempt which study material editions, revision test papers and law amendments apply. These notices appear on the BoS portal and as PDFs on resource.cdn.icai.org.

Study material editions applicable for the January 2027 Foundation exam
ICAI's Board of Studies has confirmed that all four Foundation papers are examined on the August 2024 edition of the study material (August 2025 reprint and later). For Accounting and Business Laws, students must also cover the Revision Test Paper issued for January 2027. Quantitative Aptitude and Business Economics need only the study material.
What to do: Make sure your books are the August 2024 edition (August 2025 reprint or later), and add the January 2027 RTPs for Accounting and Business Laws to your revision once ICAI releases them.
