What stood out
- Five case studies were set and any four had to be answered; every case followed the same 10-mark MCQ plus 15-mark descriptive pattern.
- Corporate and economic laws (6 MCQs) and financial reporting (5 MCQs) were the main objective areas, with strategic topics close behind.
- AFM descriptive questions focused on hedging and bond refunding, worth about 16 marks across three cases.
- Strategic management items (Porter Five Forces, Triple Bottom Line, automation, pricing) are mapped to Strategic Cost & Performance Management, the closest chapter in our topic map.
- Direct tax descriptive questions covered transfer pricing, TDS and MAT, so international taxation and corporate tax computations both mattered.
