According to Schein's model of organisational culture, which of the following is the level that is most visible to an outsider?
Artefacts are the most visible level of Schein's model. They include physical layout, dress code, logos and ceremonies that an outsider can observe directly. Espoused values sit below them, and the basic underlying assumptions are the deepest and least visible level of the culture.

Explanation
Schein describes three levels: artefacts (visible), espoused values (in the middle) and basic underlying assumptions (deepest, taken for granted). Artefacts such as dress code, office layout and logos can be seen by anyone entering the organisation. Assumptions are the least visible.
