For purposes of Section 43A of the IT Act, 2000, what does 'sensitive personal data or information' mean?

Under the Explanation to Section 43A, sensitive personal data or information means such personal information as the Central Government prescribes in consultation with professional bodies or associations it considers fit. Its scope therefore depends on government prescription, not on a company's own classification or the data's storage location.
