Gujarat government wants to modify a central OSH standard for a factory for which it is the appropriate Government. Under the Code, what must it do?

The State Government may amend the standards by notification, but only with the prior approval of the Central Government, and only for establishments for which it is the appropriate Government in that State. It cannot amend freely or seek approval afterwards.
