In Kolb's experiential learning cycle, which stage comes immediately after a person has had a concrete experience?
Reflective observation follows concrete experience. In Kolb's cycle the learner first reviews and reflects on what happened, then forms concepts and generalisations, and finally tests them through active experimentation. Abstract conceptualisation and experimentation come later in the sequence.

- BActive experimentation
- CAbstract conceptualisation
Explanation
Kolb's cycle runs: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualisation, then active experimentation. After the experience the learner reviews and reflects on what happened. Forming theories (abstract conceptualisation) comes only after that reflection.
