Ritu has completed institutional training in a school recognised by the National Council and passed the trade test conducted by that Council. Under section 6(a) of the Apprentices Act, 1961, how is her period of apprenticeship training determined, and where is it recorded?

For a trade apprentice who has had recognised institutional training and passed the trade test, the period is such as may be prescribed, and it must be specified in the contract of apprenticeship. It is neither waived nor decided by the training institution.

Explanation
