Shreeji Traders Pvt Ltd deducted tax at source from payments to contractors during the quarter ended 30th September of a financial year. Under Rule 219 of the Income-tax Rules, 2026, by which date must the quarterly statement for that quarter (other than a Form 141 case) be furnished?

The statement for the quarter ending 30th September is due on 31st October of the same financial year, as Rule 219(4) provides. The 31st May due date applies only to the March quarter, and 31st January applies to the December quarter.
