Three friends in Pune want to run a consulting business as a Limited Liability Partnership. Which authority administers the incorporation and registration of an LLP in India, through the Registrar of Companies?

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs administers the LLP Act, 2008, and LLPs are incorporated and registered with the Registrar of Companies under it. RBI, SEBI and CCI have different roles: banking and money, securities markets, and competition respectively. They do not handle LLP registration.
