Under section 11A(1) of the SEBI Act, 1992, which power does SEBI have, for the protection of investors, regarding matters such as disclosure by companies that underlie transparency in governance?
Section 11A(1) of the SEBI Act lets SEBI, for investor protection, specify by regulations the matters relating to issue of capital, transfer of securities and incidental matters, and the manner of disclosure by companies. It does not give SEBI power to appoint directors.
