Under section 64C of the Insurance Act, 1938 as presently worded, which insurers does the General Insurance Council represent?

The General Insurance Council is a representative body of insurers carrying on general insurance, health insurance and re-insurance business. Life insurers are represented separately by the Life Insurance Council, and membership is not limited to public sector insurers or to general insurers alone.
