Under Section 9, the Central Government may require a class of persons to furnish intimation of foreign contribution received. On which condition can it do so?

The Central Government must be satisfied that acceptance is likely to prejudicially affect listed interests, such as sovereignty and integrity of India, public interest, fairness of elections, friendly relations with foreign States, or communal harmony. Section 9's proviso makes this satisfaction a precondition for any such requirement.

Explanation
