Under the Designs Act, 2000, which matter relating to publication of registered designs is left to be prescribed by rules made by the Central Government?

  2. BThe particulars of the design to be published and the manner of their publicationCorrect
  3. CWhether published designs may be inspected by the public
  4. DThe meaning of 'original' for the purpose of registration

Explanation

Section 47(2)(d) lets rules prescribe the particulars to be published and the manner of publication under section 7. The duty to publish and the opening to public inspection come from section 7 itself, not rules.
