Under the RERA Act, 2016, which item must a promoter enclose with the application for registration of a project?

The promoter must enclose the names and addresses of its real estate agents, if any, for the proposed project. The Act does not require allottees' tax returns or agent guarantees, and a completion certificate is not yet available when a new project applies for registration.

  2. BThe personal income-tax returns of all prospective allottees
  3. CA guarantee from each real estate agent for the project's completion
  4. DThe completion certificate of the proposed project

Explanation

Section 4(2)(j) requires the names and addresses of the promoter's real estate agents, if any, for the proposed project. Allottees' tax returns and agent guarantees are not listed. A completion certificate cannot be filed for a project not yet built; the application needs sanctioned approvals and the commencement certificate instead.
