Under Udyam Registration, how many Udyam Registrations can one enterprise hold, and what happens to its various activities?
An enterprise can hold only one Udyam Registration. Any number of manufacturing or service activities can be added to that single registration, so separate registrations for each plant, activity or sector are not permitted.
- AOne for each plant location
- BOne for each activity, with a separate certificate per activity
- COnly one registration, in which any number of manufacturing or service activities can be addedCorrect
- DTwo, one for manufacturing and one for services
Explanation
An enterprise can have only one Udyam Registration, but it may include multiple activities (manufacturing or services) in that single registration. Separate registrations per plant or per activity are not permitted. The two-registration option wrongly splits manufacturing and services.
