Pass a group with at least 40% in each paper and 50% in the aggregate of that group, in one sitting.

  • Group pass: at least 40% in each paper and 50% in the aggregate of all papers of that group, at one sitting (Regulation 36).
  • Both groups together: at least 40% in each paper and 50% in the aggregate of all papers put together, at one sitting.
  • Paper exemption: a candidate who fails a group but scores 60% or more in a paper and at least 25% in each other paper of the group can claim exemption from that paper in later attempts by applying before the enrolment deadline. Marks in an exempted paper are not counted in the later aggregate.
  • Pass with distinction: at least 60% in each paper and 70% or more in the aggregate of all groups at one sitting, with no paper exemptions.
  • Results show marks for each paper. Executive results are issued as an e-result-cum-marks statement, with no physical copy.
  • Verification of marks can be requested within 21 days of the result.
