Anyone can register for FRM Part I. GARP sets no educational or professional prerequisites for the exam.
- There are no degree, qualification or work experience requirements to register for Part I.
- Work experience matters only at the certification stage: after passing both Parts, a candidate must submit two years of full-time relevant work experience to be certified.
