A Bill passed by the Lok Sabha is sent to the Rajya Sabha, which wants to reject it entirely. The Bill is a Money Bill. What is the position under Article 109?
The Rajya Sabha can only make recommendations on a Money Bill and must return it within 14 days. The Lok Sabha may accept or reject those recommendations. The Rajya Sabha cannot reject or amend the Bill, and no joint sitting applies to Money Bills.
