The framework is the National Voluntary Guidelines on Social, Environmental and Economic Responsibilities of Business, issued by the MCA in 2011. It contains nine principles and was voluntary. BRSR, the DPE guidelines and Schedule VII are different instruments with different origins or binding force.

Explanation
