During a Section 29 inquiry, the Controller's authorised officer finds that Arjun, the system administrator of Kaveri Textiles Ltd, alone knows how to operate the data storage apparatus. What can the officer do under Section 29(2)?

The officer can, by order, direct Arjun to provide reasonable technical and other assistance the officer considers necessary. Section 29(2) of the IT Act empowers the Controller or authorised person to direct anyone in charge of or concerned with operating the system, data, apparatus or material.
