Under the Companies Act, 2013, when a member requests a copy of the memorandum or articles, within what period must the company send it to him, subject to payment of the prescribed fees?
The company must send the copy within seven days of the member's request, on payment of the prescribed fees. This duty covers the memorandum, the articles and certain agreements and resolutions not embodied in them, and default attracts a penalty.
