Actuarial Core Principles (IAI) Registration and Fees

Checked against IAI's official pages, as of 12 October 2026. Rules and fees change; confirm on the official site before you act.

There are three steps: pass ACET (or qualify for direct entry), take student membership through the online admission process, then buy study material and register for each exam session through the member login.

Steps to register

  1. 1Sign up on the ACET portal, fill in the registration form with 10th and 12th details, upload a photograph meeting IAI's specification, and pay the ACET fee online.
  2. 2After passing ACET (or if you qualify for direct entry), complete the online admission process and upload self-attested copies of your educational documents. IAI says it reviews uploaded documents within about 7 working days.
  3. 3Once your student membership ID is issued, subscribe to the study material for the Core Principles subjects you plan to take.
  4. 4For each session, log in to the member portal and open Examination > Exam Registration Form. Choose your subjects and pay the exam fee. You can register only for subjects whose study material you have bought, and you can take several subjects in one session as long as they do not fall at the same date and time.
  5. 5Renew your student membership every year by 1 April; otherwise the membership lapses and your name is removed from the register.
