NISM Certifications Exam Dates and Sessions

There are no fixed exam sessions. NISM certification examinations are on demand: each candidate books a test centre, date and time slot of their choice on the certification portal, subject to seat availability.
When the exam is held
- On demand throughout the year, at test centres in more than 250 cities in India (per NISM's June 2025 registration guidelines).
- Slots are booked on cert.nism.ac.in by choosing a city, test centre and date range, then a slot from those with seats available.
- Enrolment for a given date closes 48 hours before that date.
- An enrolment can be rescheduled once, through the portal, at least 4 days before the exam date (not counting the exam date and the current day).
- The X-C and XV-B renewal examinations are taken online; the XV-B candidate completes it within an assigned window.
