Meera Realty Services, a broker, facilitates the sale of flats in a project registered with the Authority, but it has not obtained registration as a real estate agent. What is the legal position?

A real estate agent cannot facilitate the sale or purchase of a plot, apartment or building in a registered project without obtaining its own registration from the Authority. The promoter's registration of the project does not substitute for the agent's registration.

Explanation
