Mehta Realty Ltd. has launched a housing project in Pune. Ananya, who has signed an agreement for sale for a flat, receives the occupancy certificate for her flat on 1 March. Under the RERA Act, 2016, within what period must she take physical possession?

An allottee must take physical possession of the apartment, plot or building within two months of the occupancy certificate being issued for it. This is a statutory duty of the allottee under the allottees' rights and duties section of the RERA Act, 2016.

Explanation
