Six persons A, B, C, D, E and F sit around a circular table, all facing the centre. B sits immediately clockwise of A, that is, next to A in the clockwise direction. F sits immediately anticlockwise of A. D sits opposite A. C sits next to B. Who sits immediately to the left of D?

E sits immediately to the left of D. With A at seat 1 clockwise, B is at 2, C at 3, D at 4, E at 5 and F at 6. A person facing the centre has the clockwise neighbour on the left, which is E.

Explanation

Label the seats 1 to 6 clockwise with A at 1. Then B is at 2, F at 6 and D at 4. C and E take seats 3 and 5, and C sits next to B, so C is at 3 and E at 5. Facing the centre, the left side is the clockwise side, so the person to D's left is the one at seat 5, which is E. C is on D's right, which is the wrong-side distractor.
