A data centre operator in Hyderabad refuses to give information called for by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) under its powers for carrying out its cyber security functions. What is the maximum punishment under the Act for this failure?
The operator is punishable with imprisonment up to one year or with fine up to one crore rupees, or with both. Section 70B(7) applies to service providers, intermediaries, data centres, body corporates and others who fail to give information or follow CERT-In directions.

Explanation
