In the basic communication process, which element is the term for the person who converts an idea into a message, for example by choosing words or a chart to express it?
The sender, also called the encoder, is the person who turns an idea into a message by choosing words, symbols or charts. The receiver then decodes it, the channel carries it, and feedback is the response, so only the sender performs the encoding step.
