Rohan is facing south-west. He turns 135° anticlockwise. In which direction is he facing now?

Rohan ends up facing east. Anticlockwise from south-west, 45° takes him to south, 90° to south-east and 135° to east. Turning clockwise by 135° would instead have taken him to north, which is the common error.

Explanation

Anticlockwise rotation moves in the order SW to S to SE to E. Each 45° step is one intermediate point. 135° is 3 steps: SW to S (45°), S to SE (90°), SE to E (135°). So he faces east. A clockwise turn would have given north.
