Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 as it now stands, which body serves as the Appellate Tribunal for hearing appeals against orders of the Controller or an adjudicating officer?
The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal is the Appellate Tribunal under the IT Act, 2000. Since the Finance Act, 2017, it replaced the former Cyber Appellate Tribunal and exercises the jurisdiction, powers and authority conferred on it by the Act.
