Under the Right to Information Act, 2005, which authority prepares the annual report on the implementation of the Act for a given year and forwards it to the appropriate Government?

The Central Information Commission or the State Information Commission, as applicable, prepares the annual implementation report and forwards a copy to the appropriate Government. Ministries and Departments only supply the data, and Public Information Officers do not prepare the report.
