The CSEET is an entrance test, not a qualification in itself. Passing it opens the CS Executive Programme, the first stage of the Company Secretary course run by ICSI, a statutory body under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Typical roles
- CS Executive Programme student (the next stage after the CSEET)
- After completing the CS course and training: Company Secretary in employment or in practice
Where you can work
- Companies and LLPs (secretarial, compliance and governance functions)
- Practising Company Secretary firms
What it leads to: Register for the CS Executive Programme within one year of passing, then clear the CS Professional Programme and the required training to apply for Associate membership of ICSI.
