The CSEET (Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test) is the entry route to the CS Executive Programme for students who have passed or are appearing in Class 12. Only Indian nationals can apply.

  • A candidate who has passed, or is appearing in, the Senior Secondary (10+2) examination or an equivalent examination can register for the CSEET.
  • Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Passing the CSEET is required for registration to the CS Executive Programme unless the candidate falls in a category ICSI exempts.
  • Exempted categories, as listed by ICSI from April 2026: CS Foundation pass students; graduates and postgraduates; ICAI Intermediate pass students; ICMAI Final pass students; students who have passed the 6th semester of a recognised 5-year integrated programme. Students appearing in the final year or final semester of a 3-year undergraduate programme, or appearing in the 6th semester of a 5-year integrated programme, can register provisionally.
  • Exempted candidates register directly for the CS Executive Programme and pay a CSEET exemption fee (Rs 5,000 for direct admission; nil for CS Foundation pass students).
