Four friends Arun, Bhavna, Charu and Dev sit in a row facing north. They wear shirts of different colours: red, blue, green and yellow, one each. Arun sits at the left end. Bhavna sits immediately to the right of Arun. The person in red sits at the right end. Dev wears blue and sits next to the person in red. Bhavna does not wear yellow. Who wears the green shirt?

Bhavna wears the green shirt. Charu sits at the right end in red and Dev sits third in blue. Arun and Bhavna are left with green and yellow, and since Bhavna does not wear yellow, she must wear green.

  3. CCharu
  4. DDev

Explanation

Positions 1 to 4 from the left: Arun is 1 and Bhavna is 2. Charu and Dev fill 3 and 4. The red shirt is at position 4, and Dev, who wears blue, is next to it, so Dev is 3 and Charu is 4 in red. Arun and Bhavna have green and yellow. Bhavna does not wear yellow, so she wears green, and Arun wears yellow.
