Four friends Gita, Hari, Imran and Jaya sit in a row facing north. Jaya sits at the extreme right end. Imran sits immediately to the left of Jaya. Hari sits immediately to the right of Gita. Who sits at the extreme left end?
Gita sits at the extreme left end. Jaya and Imran fill the last two places, positions 4 and 3. Gita and Hari take positions 1 and 2, and because Hari is immediately to Gita's right, Gita must be first from the left.

Explanation
Jaya is in position 4 from the left and Imran is immediately left of her, in position 3. Gita and Hari take positions 1 and 2. Hari is immediately right of Gita, so Gita is first and Hari second. Hari cannot be at the left end because Gita would then have to sit to his left.
