CA Foundation · Quantitative Aptitude · Seating Arrangements
Six persons sit in two parallel rows of three seats each. Row 1 has A, B and C, all facing south. Row 2 has P, Q and R, all facing north, so each person in Row 1 faces one person in Row 2. A sits at the west end of Row 1 and C sits at the east end. P sits opposite C. Q sits immediately to the left of P. Who sits opposite B?
Q sits opposite B. P is opposite C at the east end of Row 2, and Q, to the immediate left (west) of P for a north-facing person, takes the middle seat. The middle seat of Row 2 faces B, who is in the middle of Row 1.

Explanation
Row 1 from west to east is A, B, C. P is opposite C, so P is at the east end of Row 2. P faces north, so P's left is west, and Q sits immediately west of P in the middle seat. R takes the west end. The middle seat of Row 2 is opposite B, so the answer is Q.
