Which feature distinguishes the semi-block (modified block) style from the full block style?
The semi-block style indents the first line of each paragraph, and the date and closing are often positioned toward the right, whereas the full block style keeps everything at the left margin. Both styles still contain an inside address and a salutation.
- AThe inside address is omitted
- BParagraphs are indented while the date and closing may be set to the rightCorrect
- CThe letter has no salutation
- DOnly capital letters are used throughout
Explanation
In the semi-block style, the first line of each paragraph is indented, and the date and complimentary close are often placed toward the right. In full block everything aligns left. The inside address, salutation and ordinary casing are still used in both.
